This Privacy Policy explains how Glowly Beauty handles personal information when you use the Glowly Beauty mobile application, website and related services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Glowly Beauty, we may process information including:

• account details such as email address and authentication information;
• customer or professional profile information;
• business details, services, availability, portfolio content and contact information;
• booking, appointment, messaging, review and notification information;
• general location choices used for local search and, when you choose to use it, device location to help select a nearby supported area;
• payment-related identifiers and transaction status provided through Stripe;
• device and push-notification identifiers; and
• support requests, reports and moderation records.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure Glowly Beauty, create and manage accounts, enable bookings and communications, process booking deposits, provide notifications, support customers and professionals, prevent misuse, resolve disputes and improve the service.

3. Payments

Glowly Beauty uses Stripe for payment processing and connected-account services. Payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by Glowly Beauty. Stripe may process information under its own privacy terms.

4. Location

Glowly Beauty supports location-based discovery. Search can be based on a selected Irish town or city and a search radius. Where device location is used, Glowly Beauty aims to use it to identify a nearby supported area rather than publish a customer’s precise location.

5. Sharing

We may share information when necessary to operate Glowly Beauty, including with the other party to a booking, service providers that support hosting, email, notifications, storage or payments, and authorities where required by law.

6. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, legal, tax, payment, dispute and record-keeping requirements. Account deletion may anonymise or remove profile information while preserving limited historical transactional or safety records where necessary.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data. Glowly Beauty also provides account controls for profile changes, email changes, password changes and account deletion.

8. Security

Glowly Beauty uses technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect accounts and personal data. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Age requirement

Glowly Beauty accounts are intended for people aged 16 or older. Users are required to confirm that they are at least 16 when creating a new account.
