PROFESSIONAL HELP

Your Glowly professional guide

Set up your business, publish services and manage bookings from the Professional Portal or app.

1. Get started

Before accepting your first appointment:

  1. Sign in to Glowly and open the Professional view or Professional Portal.
  2. Complete your Business Profile with your business name, location, description and contact information.
  3. Set up your services and working hours so customers can see what you offer and when you are available.
  4. Check your subscription and booking capacity in Account & Settings.

2. Create and manage services

Your service menu is what customers browse before booking.

  1. Open Services in the Professional Portal.
  2. Select + Add service. Choose the relevant Glowly category and service group, or organise your menu using Service groups.
  3. Enter the service name, duration and price or starting price. Add a clear description and image if available.
  4. Save the service, then check that it appears in your service menu.
  5. To change a service later, return to Services and use its editing options.

Good to know: Service groups organise your menu (for example, Ladies Cuts or Massage). Choose appropriate categories so customers can discover your services.

3. Set weekly working hours

Working hours control the regular times customers can book.

  1. Open Availability and find Weekly Working Hours.
  2. Enable the days you work. Set a start and end time for each enabled day.
  3. Leave days you do not work disabled.
  4. Select Save Working Hours.
  5. Review your Calendar to check your availability.

Good to know: Working hours are your recurring schedule. Use blocked time for one-off appointments, holidays or breaks.

4. Block time off

Stop customers from booking during holidays, breaks or other commitments.

  1. Open Availability and find the blocked-time section, or open Calendar and select an available time slot.
  2. Choose the start and end date/time for the period you cannot accept bookings.
  3. Add a note if needed, and save the block.
  4. Check the blocked period on your Calendar.
  5. To change or remove an existing block, open it from Calendar or the availability list.

Good to know: The end must be after the start. Blocking time does not automatically cancel an existing booking—review affected appointments separately.

5. Create promotions and special offers

Promote services with a clearly defined offer period.

  1. Open Promotions in the Professional Portal or app.
  2. Create a promotion, enter its title and description, and choose the applicable services or service groups.
  3. Set the discount, start date and end date, and add a promotional image where supported.
  4. Review the offer details before publishing.
  5. Check that the offer appears on your professional profile during its valid dates.

Good to know: Discounts should apply only to appointments that fall within the configured promotional period. Paid Boost visibility is separate from creating a promotion.

6. Boost a promotion

Boosts are optional paid visibility for eligible published offers.

  1. Open Promotions and select the eligible offer or its Boost option.
  2. Choose the available Boost configuration and dates.
  3. Review the calculated charge before selecting Pay.
  4. Complete the hosted payment checkout and return to Glowly.
  5. Verify the Boost status in Promotions before assuming it is active.

Good to know: Publishing a promotion is not the same as paying for a Boost. Make sure the offer covers the full Boost period.

7. Manage appointments

Use Appointments and Calendar to stay organised.

  1. Open Appointments to review upcoming bookings and booking details.
  2. Open Calendar for a day or week view alongside blocked time.
  3. Use the available actions to complete, reschedule or cancel an appointment when appropriate.
  4. Check Messages and Notifications for customer updates.

Good to know: Customers pay the €2 Glowly booking fee online and the service price directly to you at the venue. The fee is not a salon deposit.

8. Plans, billing and getting help

Manage booking limits and account details from one place.

  1. Open Account & Settings in the Professional Portal.
  2. Review your current plan, remaining booking capacity and the available subscription options.
  3. Use the available payment or upgrade action if you want to change your plan.
  4. Contact [email protected] if a payment or subscription status looks incorrect.

Good to know: Do not send passwords, card numbers or verification codes to support.
